If I am understanding correctly, you are suggesting something that is already implemented:

The little blue dot in the upper left-hand corner means that the thread contains posts by you.

Anytime, my man.

If you're ever curious what a particular page symbol means, simply hover over it with your mouse and it will prompt you to what it symbolizes.
