Agnostic is not the word. Agnostics claim to not know whether or not a god exists. (Agnostics are all consequentially atheists for they lack a belief.) You cannot assert a god exists whilst simultaneously claiming you do not know if a god exists.
Theist seems to be the word you're seeking.

Crop said:I just don't really get into religion. Most Christians where I live are homophobic judgmental assholes. Definitely not saying every Christian is but here where I live religion is ignorance. Most people here just are assholes in general, that might just be it.
well then, I just dont know. You can like literally only be christian where i live or youre a devil worshipperBomb said:I'm a homophobic judgemental asshole yet I'm Catholic
Cann!bal said:That's an immensely ignorant question to ask during the age of information. Look at human history, i.e the Crusades, 9/11, the bombings, the constant warfare. Look at extremist groups like the Westboro Baptist Church. Look at the situation happening in Palestine, Gaza. Look at ISIS and other terrorist organizations. Look at the Middle East in general. Look at the oppression of women, homosexuals, etc. Look at the toxic mix of nationalism and Christianity in the USA. Look at the damn statistics. Look at all the injustice in the world that can be rooted to religion. All of this, entirely preventable, and unnecessary suffering.
Religion poisons everything. When a great portion of humanity sincerely think there's an omnipotent, eternal, sociopathic, egocentric, bearded white man in the sky who dictates mundane doctrines and your chance at eternal paradise or subsequent eternal hellfire once you're dead, it's bound to affect everything; for everything is bound by cause and effect.

Cann!bal said:Yeah, definitely bordering the grounds of an oxymoron, however, they do exist.
