Not trying to be an ass, but can you give me an example of one?
I enjoy learning new things
It is ignorant to not know why religion is a problem in the age of information, hence to ask the question would make it an ignorant question for they should know.

That was a very ignorant answer. I don't think you fully grasped my question. I was talking about people like you who have this fantasy that religion causes all the worlds problems. And then complain about all the unnecessary problems. They're so predictable. And just to clarify I'm not super religious and I'm not an atheist either. I'm just observing an argument between two sides, both of which are pointless. Religion isn't the cause of these problems. Sick people cause these problems. And in fact, being an "atheist" doesn't make you any smarter or different from believing in a God. If you can't understand that statement then just stop reading now because this is obviously over your head. Lets use your logic "Religion is the cause of unnecessary suffering" and expand on it. Because you didn't, and athiests never do and never will. 1.) Because it is not true. And 2.) because there is not - and never will be- a way to prove it. They just imply that without religion there wouldn't be terrorists, wars, bombings, etc. That is probably the stupidest thing I've ever heard. There will be wars as long as there are humans. We will always find stupid shit to argue and kill each other over. That's the world. And you have a hard time realizing that, so you default on saying it's religion. But if religion disappeared and people still dropped bombs and shot up schools then you would find something new to bitch about. That's the one FACT in this situation.
I didn't know I thought religion causes all of the world problems, that I think I'm more intelligent than everyone, or that I think religion is the cause of unnecessary suffering, because that's not what I said at all!
Religion makes people sick. "With or without it you would have good people doing good things and evil people doing evil things. But for good people to do evil things, that takes religion."
I am different from believers. The burden of proof is entirely upon them, not me. They're the one's making the claim. I am good to go.
I can tell you now, not a single person I know who is an atheist thinks terrorism or wars will stop once religion fades.
The straw man arguments you consistently make throughout your refutation are an attestation to how little you know about atheism. You hold a totally irrational and discriminate view towards atheism, and it's despicable.
