Just thought I would make this thread to see your thoughts are about the USA economy.

I would discuss mine, but it would be around 1-2 pages long.

The economy is shit at the moment, but if you look at it the unemployment rate, gas prices, and alot of other costly items have dropped substancially compared to when there was a bush in the office.
we offer health care coverage until you are 26 under your parents plan (very helpful considering most entry level positions and mininum wage jobs dont offer good insurance)
i can go on for days but will wait for a rebutle about the topics i touched on =)

Everyone blames the president on the economy and the DOW, when he has no control, the resesion started in 2008, thanks to george bush, but the president cant control fuel prices, as they continue to go up (at least where i am), all the president is, is the speaker of what the rest of the government desides, he can pass bills, but congress can veto those bills so in the end it is not passed, out government is corrupt (you know it when we start a 10 year war over something we did, yes, 9/11) I would expect 150 years or less before we get taken over, nuked, or revolt against the government, putting us in a state of anarchy, and hopefully, going to a democratic-socialist government, but at the moment, the us economy is screwed.

yee, it kinda is,when you have companies doing mass layoffs because they are running out of money, it is, you have 4 people competing for the same job, you have collage graduates flipping burgers at mcdonalds, its pretty hard to get a job at the moment, look out side.
