Some of this isn't new, but please read the whole thing as I have an important question at the end.
With the new Youtube URL system, it seems like it will be harder to obtain URLs.
This is because YouTube now has requirements.
The requirements are:
- 500 or more subscribers
- Channels is at least 30 days old
- Channel has uploaded a photo for the channel icon
- Channel has uploaded channel art
While going through this, I noticed this:
What really intrigued me is the
"any vanity urls you currently own"
Does this mean if I, for example, were to own soundcloud.com/god or twitter.com/god and confirmed that those were my accounts, I would be eligible for youtube.com/c/god?
I have yet to test this, so I wanted to see if anyone could confirm or deny this, I'm not sure how it works.
