Does anyone know who owns the YT /Prank and if they'd be willing to sell? I know he works with Omnia Media (Network).
Also, how is it possible for this OG account to have been created in 2014? Is this a partner reclaimed channel such as /Jon & /Fred? He may have used his network connection to reclaim it.
Sorry. Posted to wrong section.
@Kavey I think there was a channel that used it with the redirect so it was YT/prank and it redirected to there channel. Networks do have the power to get some of these URLs. Freedom gets a lot of them and uses them as freedom related channels. In the banner on the account has SoFloAntonio in it. I recognize the name and I doubt it will be sold ever.

With redirects the URL shouldn't include youtube.com/user/ but rather youtube.com/ . example: Redirect URL and Channel URL . The results for /pranksters and user/pranksters is different. If you own the URL: user/ you own the channel as well, correct?
@Kavey that is correct. you can also set that up if you have the channel. @Zeus sold youtube.com/user/bank to FaZe Banks. He has it setup so if you type in youtube.com/bank it takes you to have 700k channel.

@Kavey its been a while since YouTube has let people claim those types of URLs. I hope they regain relevance. If you need any other information about YouTube I've been making videos since 2010 and I have been exploring the settings since then.

What do you mean by "those types or URLs?" If someone owns youtube.com/user/ then they own the channel asociated with that URL, not a redirect link. If someone only owns youtube.com/ then this would be considered a redirect URL.
@Kavey when you create a new youtube account you have youtube.com/channel/ and then a bunch of characters after it. Regular people havent been able to create /user/ URLs for months

@Kavey in the past you had to have 5k subs and 1k on google plus to get verified but some poeple can submit verification. I've seen people do it for $20-300. It's more likely to happen if you have 7,000 subscribers
