I hear Youtube now allow basic partnership to anybody now, they allow you to have adsense ads next to your vids, just like partners!

Anyone earning through this?

For the Google Adsense thing it's not really worth it unless you get thousands of views per video. You earn like a $1.50 per 1 thousand view or something like that.

It all depends on how well your traffic converts. If you get 100 views and 10 conversions (click on ads), then you might get $5. If you get 1 million views and only get 2 conversions then you might only make a dollar.
