A Modest Question for Meat Lovers

Eat as much meat as you like bro :)))))))))))))

What I think is that it doesn't make a difference if I just stop eating it because the fact is they are still being slaughter for meat so why would I not take advantage of eating meat if they are going to continue to be killed anyway.

Plants are living as well, it's "murder" (cringe) either way, although one tastes better than the other, hence why we eat meat.

meat is gorgeous, end of story. It's only in our human nature to eat other meats..

Vegetarians eat salad which in some way is the animals food, so why the fuck do they eat what animals are eating?

Vise-Versa in some way I suppose.

Where do you get your main protein source from since you don't eat meat???
I get it from legumes and grain, seeds, and nuts, peanut butter, bagels, rice, tofu, pasta, veggie burgers, soy milk, fruits and veggies, and plenty of other stuff.

Plant protein is better than animal protein.

Vegans get as much protein as everyone else. We all actually get too much protein.

If everybody on earth had to stop eating meet, and start eating vegetarian, the earth would have to be around 37 times larger than it actually is - just to be able to grow all that.

You destroy the planet, not me.
That's utter bullshit. Where did you even get that number?

And I'm not expecting the world to go vegan over night. It will be a long incremental and sorrowful process. It took us 400 years for white people to understand enslaving black people is wrong, another hundred to give blacks equal rights, and they're still being discriminated against today.

I was getting into The Smiths and watched some of Morrisseys interviews and his opinion about meat made me think about quitting it. Going Vegan for 14 days while on holiday now. To anyone stating meat and milk have positive effects on the body you are simply wrong.

That's awesome, dude. The Smiths are great. But don't go vegetarian. Vegetarians perpetuate the same systems of cruelty as meat-eaters.

Isn't it murder to eat plants and stuff like that too? It's living organisms.
The point of veganism is to minimize suffering and pain as much as possible. Plants don't suffer or feel pain. They have nociceptors which allow plants to react to harmful stimuli, however, they don't suffer or feel pain. They don't have a central nervous system.

It's basic supply and demand. The less demand of animal products, the less animals will be exploited, tortured and murder. By going vegan you save hundreds of animals each year and thousands within your lifetime, and live a healthier and more environmentally-friendly life.

We are all animals. We all have needs for survival. We hunt, we kill, we eat. It's life.
We don't kill for survival. We kill for convenience, pleasure and amusement.

Animal products are completely unnecessary for our diet.

Appealing to nature is a logical fallacy. Just because it occurs in nature does not mean it is just. i.e rape, kidnapping, war.

Sorry, but in no logical world do taste buds justify enslavement, exploitation, torture, rape and genocide of billions of sentient feeling beings.

To you it's just a dinner, but to them it is life itself. They can experience love, sadness and loneliness just like you, they can have relationships with others just like you, and they can suffer and feel pain just like you. We are all equals when we consider pain and suffering. This indifference you have for certain animals makes you no worse than the sexists, the slaveowners and the Nazis, as they were to women, blacks and Jews.

I hope you make the connection.

I know meat tastes great, but that same taste can be acquired on a vegan diet. I eat vegan burgers all the time and they taste just like the real thing. We don't have to exploit, torture, and murder an innocent and afraid cow for years to get that taste.

It's not human nature. We were gathers before hunter-gathers. (All of closest cousins and ancestors are nearly 100% herbivore.) All that happened was we learned how to hunt and prepare and cook meat so it's edible. We never gained an evolutionary advantage to eat meat like omnivores do. Humans have no carnivorous instincts. We hate the sight of blood and have to prepare and cook meat for it to be edible. And we're 100% physiologically and biologically herbivores.

No need to get angry for a conversation of Meats vs Eating Plants. It's an opinion, you think it's better to eat plants, I don't.

Nice thread Cannibal, you're definitely supporting your view on this debate very well. I read the whole thread and I would have to say you do have a vaild point here. I eat meat, but I'm not too ignorant to acknowledge your side of things like others on this thread.

You are entitled to all the opinions you want, but there are no opinions on facts.

A low fat, high carb, plant-based whole foods vegan diet is demonstrably the healthiest diet for a human.

And it's so much more than plants versus meat. Your diet is the reason we are enslaving, exploiting, torturing, raping and murdering 150,000,000,000 innocent sentient feeling beings every single year. You are committing mass-scale atrocities with your diet. There is no justification for this.

To me, meats are better than plants as I don't like eating that salad fufu shit, so it's not facts that plants is better, that is an opinion.

Are you fucking retarded? You're like a broken record. There are vegan alternatives to every singe animal product; there are absolutely no health reasons to consume animal products, and in fact are tremendously unhealthy; and your diet is responsible for years of misery and deaths of billions of sentient animals, along with global warming and world hunger. Connect the dots, you dumbass.

You aren't missing out on anything. Like I've already said there's alternatives to everything that tastes similarly to exactly like the real thing. I pranked my mom the other day into eating vegan BBQ chicken wings and she couldn't tell the difference.

No, it's not. It's fact. There are no opinions about facts. It just is. Every doctor with a brain, expect fringe retards and magical medicine men, think a low fat, high carb, whole foods plant-based diet is extremely healthy.
