Just to comment on everyone making the statement "don't have unprotected sex if you don't want a baby", you can have protected sex and still get pregnant. Just because you have a condom on does not mean you are 100% protected. Same goes for the pill, if your girl doesn't take it at the same time every day, it could get thrown off and she could still get pregnant.

So even when couples are trying to be safe they still end up with a kid. My opinion on it is, if you can seriously look at your life and say "i'm not ready to have a baby" then don't. Of course there is other options like adoption and whatnot but if a woman does not want to have a baby she shouldn't be forced too. Especially if it wasn't planned.

Don't see anything wrong with it.
It's not like you're killing an actual developped baby, you're removing it in its early stages of development. An egg is not a chicken.
Would you rather have abortions or have kids grow up in households that don't want the kid and/or aren't ready for a child? Think about that.

Abortion is disgusting, If you get pregnant and you don't want the kid there's always adoption.
I think it's really messed up that people will end a life due to not wanting a kid or not feeling ready.
If they aren't ready or old enough to live with being pregnant then they simply should close their legs.

Yeah it's different if they're raped but still I don't agree for them to have an abortion
they can put the kid up for adoption.. It's better than taking away an innocent life.

Now say there was severe medical issues going on and it was life threatening to the kid or the mother.
And there was no other choice but to have the baby die then that is fair enough.
Because why put your kid through a bad start to life if there's a high chance they won't live long or they'll live with really bad difficulties and problems.
Same goes for if having a kid can cause serious issues and life threats to the mum. That's the only way I'd agree with abortion.

I feel the same way, it isn't really alive yet and it's always up to the one carrying the baby. It is kind of rude though i would hate to be the baby getting aborted.

Lack of contraceptives is a factor in unwanted pregnancies but so is your environment. It goes back to thousands of years and is still relevant to today's society, as humans we make decisions as we observe our surroundings. Why do you think a Mexican girl in a low income neighborhood in which the majority is below or at the poverty line is more likely to get pregnant than a girl in an upscale neighborhood and it's clear that they make enough to be considered "rich".

Also to address that you said the kids could be placed in adoption, have you seen the amount of time and effort it takes to adopt a child ?

That's why many orphanages are over crowded and the children have a pretty shitty childhood not to mention when they are adopted some of them end up in worse conditions.

And according to statistics the amount of abortions due to rape are miniscule in the total percentage of abortions.

Yeah it might take up a lot of time sorting out adoption but there's so many females in this world who aren't able to have kids because of infertility & that leads to them having no other choice but to go adopting babies. [font=Tahoma, Verdana, Arial, sans-serif]If you look into adoption properly you will find a loving home & parents for the kid you don't want. I think it's really unfair that girls who aren't willing to look after their kid just go and have abortions when there's so many other people who would kill for a kid and can't have one. It's really selfish and its really disgusting. You either don't have sex or you deal with your issues properly. It's a personal decision, just feel sorry for the ones that do it cause they meet F up people that say what should never be said. My best friend & his girl decided on abortion & there cool with it. 5 months later me & him went on a road trip, met his other family in Cali & his cousin said "heard you got an abortion, she do it cause your too ugly?" I've known this cat from the very beginning & he always argued no matter what. His face was like a ghost & he just walked away. It's a hard decision so if you can live with it then do what you need to do.

In the USA it takes years and numerous background checks and inspections to even be considered a candidate and you also have to attend parenting classes even if you already have kids.

Abortion is just the choice if you want a clump of cells to become a kid or if you want to get rid of the clump of cells.

If you think about it a baby is a parasite.

It doesn't matter if that's what you have to go through to have a kid, Because people who really want a kid and can't have one are clearly gonna be willing to do all that.
All that has nothing to do with the person giving up the baby. They do their part and the adoptive parents do theirs. @Shift

Alright think about this

There are 10 children who are waiting to be adopted.

5/10 get adopted and the other 5 grow out of the adoptive system and are at a serious disadvantage socially and economically because they don't have guidance and they have to decide whether they want to continue studying or if they have to get a job in order to be able to survive.

If you have parents or don't.. Everyone has hard times in life. Everyone has their own issues. Life isn't supposed to be easy is it? All you have to do is get on with life & make the best of it. There's many people in life who suffer bad anxiety and haven't got a very good social life or education. But it's not always to do with parenting. That can come from many different reasons.

Take Chicago for example, very gentrified and notable poverty rates is why many gangs have continued to flourish (Vice Lords, Black Disciples, Gangster Disciples, Black P. Stones, Latin Kings, Spanish Disciples) you get the point.

I don't know anything about Chicago but I do know there's crime, poverty & racism everywhere in this world.
Just because I'm white doesn't mean anything. Racism is stupid and people shouldn't let that affect them.
I just see racists as another way of bullying and many people get bullied for many reasons.
