Give me reasons why Windows is good? Mac's are good for graphics and multimedia, programming, photography, gaming, etc. I use it for plenty of reasons and those are a few. If you want good software, go to Mac. It's faster and the software is easy-to-use.
It's built to be safe, it has the latest technology and it can even run Windows. Mac's are also very reliable. You see, I'm not hating on Windows, I have been a user all my life. This switch was certainly worth it. I'm saying Mac's are worth your money and are far more secure then Windows.
@"Voodin", ofcourse you can still play video games on a Mac. There are many great free apps and softwares which are available from the app store. There's also great games that cost, those are the best type and there are many other categories such as entertainment, photography, etc.

Please tell me how a Gaming PC isn't good for graphics, multimedia, programming, photography or gaming. By simply being a Gaming PC it would have something like an i7, nVidia or AMD, lots of Ram, and many other things, and it would be also very fast.

People buy Macs because of the OS. If Apple only shipped hardware running Windows it would sell for the same as an equivalent Windows machine.Storm said:Mirage said:A Mac is really better than Windows, I can go on for days about pros, and only around 2-3 cons. l0l.
Apple practically give away their OS. It relies on it to sell their hardware which keeps them in business.
@Mirage, tsk tsk tsk.
Their great for multimedia and photography, but that's about it.
You want to play games? Go sink $3k if you want to play CoD on high everything. Don't have that much to throw away? Stick to Angry Birds. Put simply, it's not worth it. And yes, price does matter to a lot of people. You could make 2 great desktops with 23" widescreens, mice and keyboards that could play both CoD and Crysis on high detail for less than what it would cost for a Mac to play them.
On top of that, you don't go to Mac just for the software.
Install the OS on a shitty Dell setup. I bet my life you wouldn't go near it, nor anyone else.
Apple don't rely on it's OS to sell it's OS. They rely on their OS to sell their hardware.
Do you want to know why the software is faster? The hardware.
Yes it is good, but you can't rule out all other software made outside of what's on a Mac.

You can go buy a computer that looks EXACTLY like a Mac running Windows with the same hardware for much less.Storm said:One said:People buy Macs because of the OS. If Apple only shipped hardware running Windows it would sell for the same as an equivalent Windows machine.
Do you read anything?
People buy Macs because of the design, the whole package.
Not just the OS..
Latest technology? Do you even research half of your things mate? Majority of mac laptop use's Intel graphics which is horrible for gaming and video editing.Mirage said:A Mac is really better than Windows, I can go on for days about pros, and only around 2-3 cons.
