Cloudflare Browser Checks

Okay, Cloudflare has been checking my browser about every hour ever since it was added. It gets quite annoying when I try to submit a post or reputation, and it gives me an error after if performs a browser check. Also, the browser checks seem longer than normal.

I'm asking if we can change it to where it only checks once per day. I don't know if that is possible because I'm not too familiar with Cloudflare, but if it is, then it should be changed to one check per day.

So, post your thoughts, and vote in the poll.

EDIT: It checked my browser when I tried to submit this post the first time. >.<

I really am starting to hate it on this site. It checks it WAY to often. On HF it barely does.

I know!

Something should really be done about it.

Yeah, totally because sometimes it just randomly does it 5 minutes after the 1st check. And sometimes when I click home it does it too.

I agree with you Ocean, it always occurs whenever I am attempting to submit a thread response. I'm sure there is a method of reducing the amount of checks being received each day.

Yeah, it seems to happen too often. Limiting it more would be good.

I don't mind it, only takes me another 5 seconds to write up what I did again, lmao.

Still, what if you wrote a really long HQ thread?

It would've all gone to waste if your browser didn't remember it.

I fucking hate these checks.

I was posting a big thread, and a browser check came up when I clicked post, and I lost the whole fucking thread.

On my site I have had Cloudflare for almost 1 year now and it never checks my browser so I have came to the conclusion that:

1. Philly has purchased CF
OR
2. Philly has updated it to the security level "high"
Basically if either of these are true there is nothing he can do about it besides get rid of it completely.

PS: I could be providing false info I am just making this assumption.

Well, if you use Google Chrome or Firefox, you can just go back a page or two, and it should remember exactly what you typed for you post.

That's just for future reference, but I know that not everyone using Firefox or Google Chrome.

As far as I know it only supposed to be checked once and saved in your cookies that you have been checked. I haven't really looked or payed attention to when it does it to me however I know it happens numerous times per day. It's annoying as fuck but at least we are not having any downtime.

Do you have your CF settings set on high?

Just out of curiosity, are you using a payed version of Cloudflare?

if you are, then you should switch to SiteLock. It doesn't have annoying browser checks, and I've heard that it is really good. The only difference is that you have to pay for it.

Yes I do. Which is probably why it checks so much.

You should try to lower it and see if it checks less often.

I don't think it would lower the security too much.

@Philly, I would honestly put it down to medium bro, there really isn't a point in having it on high, I don't think it really adds anything extra and you IP will still be hidden even on medium.

@Ocean, I thought that sitelock wasn't for DDoSing? I thought it was only for sql injections ext.
