No, this is an IM system. The others take longer to talk with them and such. You need to think. After we get this why post a thread when you can hop on this IM and just tell everyone there?

It is a stupid idea to consider, like EVERY other chat system. Plus TE will never add it. He knows this too.

Im for it, it sounds like a good idea to me, and reaper, (just using this as an example) Facebook has a chat thing, and people still make statuses and what not on there don't they?

That is Facebook, a social network site. This is a forum, totally different.

Aaron, Facebook is for keeping up to date with your friends, and such. A chat system like this is brilliant there. On a forum, the whole point is to post. Therefore this is redundant and kills the forum. They are both 'social' but each require/can have different things. Just because one game has something, doesn't mean they all do. Right? Same for websites.

In the long run this will hurt RG more than help it

Well considering we may use the forum less if we can like ask a question on MSN, yes. But we can't help MSN being around. We can however, not use this idea. If we want to succeed and all.

I have mostly every one added on msn I post here for questions and yea
Its not like I go around on msn ASking people
If we had a chat it would be the same

Some people would use it for misilanious talk So they don't have to make threads like - Reaper made a funny

Threads would increase in quality
Spam would go down a little
Deals would be more safe
Instant Pm instead of Pming and waiting 5 mins and responding


I know LOADS of people hate that
They don't like talking in pm's so they go talk on msn
Witch instead of MSN would be the chat function!

I would 100% love to see this. I'd really like to talk to some members that are on this site, but I don't want to go through the trouble of getting their MSN. @[The Elite] could make it to log the chat messages, therefore it could be evidence if a scam were to surface.

Ive experienced with this also
The thing you can make it delete all the conversations After one day so it doesn't take up all your server space

+ you can ban words from being used in the chat

you can ban people from the chat

ITs just a load of awesomeness
