The only between you updating it and borrowing some ideas from the other user's thread is that you would be using the other user as a source instead of Wikipedia.

I didn't say I wouldn't use other sources, nor did I claim to have more knowledge in the subject than anyone else.

I never said that you claimed to have more knowledge in the subject than anyone else. I said that it would be beneficial to your thread if you were to add information to it that came from more knowledgeable sources. I also never said that you would use other sources, I said that it would be beneficial if you did. Please listen.

Well, look what I just stumbled upon.

Proofreading

Always, always, always proofread for errors, fallacies, illogic, missing sources, etc. A short read-through of your thread and/or reply will save you time and effort when having to respond to claims about your thread. Make sure all of your sources are listed and that you aren't using fallacious arguments when debating. These errors can be easily spotted by your opponent and will be quickly turned against you.

The little 4 post altercation between us could have been completely avoided if you had proofread your post or stated beforehand that you were using a mobile device and I should expect some errors.

Trying to type on an iPad while simultaneously attempting to engage in a discussion in history class is insanely difficult.
