what would you rather happen;

a) you buy the account with no recoverie test because your a lazy ass, it then proceeds to get recovered. GG

b) you do a recovery test because your not a stupid idiot, KNOWING its hell of a lot chance it wont get recovered, person tries to recover, it fails. you keep the account. GG to him.

just do the fk ing recovery test for god sake.

Obviously you didn't read what I said, lol...

Even if you change the recovery questions, do everything you can, the person can still get the account back as long as they are the original owners.

Jagex will eventually decline your appeal attempts and just give the account to the original owner.

Recovery tests will do nothing but waste your time.

Obviously, but atleast you know that you have a better chance of keeping the account secure.

Whatever floats your boat I guess.

All they do is a simple I.P. check and no matter what precautions you've taken, you're going to lose the appeal.

What are you going to tell them... "HEY, I bought that account and now he is recovering it!".

I've had it happen to me personally, and I have had seen it happen to many people.

yes and its kinda easy to recover it, when you sold it, keep that date, in the recover account thing, it will say, "have you moved houses" put in the date that you sold the accont, theyll think its you who you "sold it to" and hand it back.

all they do is IP check to see if another persons logged on, if they think its you, theyll hand it over.

A simple I.P. lookup and they will see it registered with other accounts...

So, the only way to better your chances would be if you have never played RuneScape before...

A recovery test is honestly pointless, but if it really is going to make you feel that much more secure, than give 'er.

Rofl, obviously not.

But I am going to say a good 95% of the time, when buying an account, you have another account that was recently played on.

Whatever, getting side tracked... recovery tests are going to do fuck all.

I'll just be here to say "I told you so" when the accounts get recovered anyways.

Techno says if a Recovery Test is not used then he will not MM.
So, that's what I started doing.
