That's my custom build. I would save $100 if I ditched the SSD. Do I really need one anyways?

I guess I might, but 1TB is enough for me for now.

Yea, I agree with Amped. Once you are spending over $2,000 an extra $100 isn't a big difference. That ratio is kind of small. Now if it was like $800 and you could save $100, then that isn't too bad.

SSD are great in my opinion. Extremely fast and great for having your OS on it.


Also why in the world are you going with i7 3770 with a Z77 chipset motherboard?

For gaming, the i5. The i7 really isn't that necessary.

And get two GeForce 660 Ti's. They're a little more pricey, but preform amazingly. And they're Crossfire ready..for..your..three..god..damn..moniters..

Two 7870's are better than two 660 Ti's.


Also get i7 3770k, not point getting Z77 and CPU cooler when your getting a locked CPU. Also why the people spend so much on keyboards. get a cheaper board and you might be able to get two 7950's.

I'm not actually sure if you should or not, but if I was going to buy a SSD I would buy a small one, like 40gb or something like that, install Windows on it and the main programs I use, Firefox, Microsoft Office, Skype, etc.

The reason there is 2 graphics cards is because I want to run 3 monitors efficiently.
