He is just saying he believes god doesn't exist. You cannot simply overrule him.

Honestly, I chose not to believe in god when I was about 10 years old. I'm not sure if my family is christian or not, but I just thought the idea of god is hugely absurd. It makes no sense. Not to mention everybody following a book that was written way too long ago by some guys who were most likely stoned, or at least making something up.

Either way, his existence makes no form of sense to me, if he did exist, why is there murder, rape, death, wars, other religions etc. It is human nature, but if god created us, he wouldn't have made that human nature.
He didn't create any of that, we as humans created those type of lifestyles(rape,wars..etc) we choose our own path, he can help guide it.

Sure there may be all these bad things but you cannot just blame God for everything. Besides, it's all a challenge in life, everything just be a fictional fantasy. At the end, if you follow God and live a life as a believer nothing but good will come to you, and you will end up in a nice place.

Btw, please remember to capitalize the "G" in God.

Actually. We as humans created God. There is a reason he is sexist, intolerant, homophobic and violent. Because we as humans simply created him, the idea of him that is.

I don't blame "God" for anything, he doesn't exist. I blame religion for wars. Because let's be honest, 90% of wars are based on religion.

As for your reference to Heaven, I don't follow god, there is no physical way that he exists. And no matter what anyone says, there will never be proof of his existence. A book written a long time ago doesn't even count. I know heaven does not exist, it's pretty obvious actually. When we die, we are dead, our body has run out of energy, our brain has given up along with our hearts. We do not go to heaven, we do not go to hell, we do not exist past that point, besides being a corpse. Of course, you'll never realize that heaven doesn't exist, because you'll have to die to figure that out, and once your dead, you are no longer conscious.

Ps. I don't capitalize God because he is merely non-existent.

I guarantee you 100% I am smarter, more educated, and simply better spoken than you will ever be in your life.

Make an argument next time you want to say something. I think ot's safe to say you're the idiot. Also, last time I checked, I'm not the one blindly following a book written in the stone ages.

This right here. This explains my feelings toward this. Us, humans, can just come up with something new to fight over, (Let's say), religion didn't exsist. You could bet something, anything, would be made so we would have wars.

I really think that people who believe in God are quiet silly. Thinking that there is an afterlife and there is God, however the only thing we have to base this off of is a book thousands of years old. They believe in God but not aliens, very odd to me. For aliens there is dozens of more proof than there is for God. Billions of planets with a chance of life seems more unrealistic than an extremely old book that has no proof behind it, to them.
This one day in class I yelled out YOLO and this chick says "Your'e an idiot if you had read the bible you would know that you live twice!". It brought me to thinking, why do Christians believe it's actually a 2nd life, when you are only a soul, not a functioning body?

I have no doubt there is "aliens" out there, although that name sort of implies they are some advanced species. For all we know they could just be single cell organisms, or extremely primitive. We as humans all started out as single cells and adapted to the planet and evolved, it has to happen somewhere in some other galaxy. Plus, we know more about space than the bottom of our oceans, who knows what's down there. As for god, well, that's a pipe dream.

Agreed.

Most people think of aliens as grey aliens with big heads but the term alien actually means any type of organism that is living and live's somewhere other than planet earth and is undiscovered.

THIS. FUCKING. RIGHT. HERE.

I agree 100% with everything stated in here. I agree that there is no afterlife. It's pretty straight forward that heaven and hell don't exist, I don't understand why people think they do. I honestly think it's just because people are afraid of dying and not going anywhere, but it's just silly.

people see ghosts... demons... possession...
and.. there is a film about scientific proof that heaven exists/ or atleast some afterlife called: Afterlife
(on netflix) soo... i think there is a after life...
that doesnt mean there has to be a 'god'
done.

It's pretty obvious that there isn't an afterlife though... why are we so special to continue living after we die?

When we die, we die like every other thing in the universe, our body grows old or stops working. An afterlife is illogical and cannot be proven in any way shape or form. But they can be dis-proven.

Aliens: i mean like a parallel universe, or other planets that we haven't discovered in our own solar system. i mean look they found water on mars, inside water is 2 parts hydrogen and one part oxygen, so that means that at one time there was a oxygen source on that planet due to the fact that the evaporation and condensation would have removed the water by now, this means that there could have / is a life form there.
God / Aliens :
I believe in god, but i also believe that there is a higher power / being then us (not saying 100% aliens)
the reasoning behind this is if you step back, with a open mind, and look at how we teach and train animals as pets to do stuff and how to behave, maybe thats where we get our ethics from

Like for example how in the world would any one ever come up with a way to conduct electricity, or how would some one come up with the idea that if they take a certain ammount of elements / materials they can make steel??
Same with the motor vehicle, steam power etc.

i honestly believe that there is a being higher then us and we are kind of like an ant farm to them they teach us stuff with out us even realizing that they are doing so if you understand what i mean...
If not feel free to ask me to go into deeper detail and i will explain a little less vague
