I think at first it's inhuman because they will get shocked but they will learn so it becomes good. It does work though

It depends on your intentions. If the collar gives just a little shock that doesnt physically hurt the pet than i think it alright. If the collar has a high voltage then i think it is wrong since it is physically hurting the pet.

Yeah it depends on the power of it. Strong ones are inhumane but just a little shock will teach them pretty fast.

The thing is shock colors for boundary reasons are alright, but barking reasons are inhumane because it's how they communicate.

Would you want to be shocked every time you said something.

I agree but some dogs bark all day and night, so some might need it.

I guess you have never met a dog that barks and doesn't stop. Meaning the dog sits there and barts, and howls for numerous hours! A little barking is fine,m but when they bark for hours straight that is completely different, and that is when action should be taken.

Really? Most shock callers are no worse than touching your tongue to a nine volt battery.

Just shove some battery's in his mouth with a Muzzle then, save money.

No because that is a constant shock rather than just a very minor shock when barking.

If your dog constantly barks I have no problem with these, but if it is just because you want your dog to be completely silent that isn't right. My dog is really good though, he almost never barks or anything.

Lmao, I don't understand how some of you think. Like seriously how is it inhumane when your dog barks and you tell it to stop and it doesn't for hours and hours and hours 100% straight without considering stopping. I never once meant to put it on a already good dog that never barks. This is strictly for dogs that need to stop barking so much.

There has to be a point in the lifetime where you bought the dog knowing it barked a lot, or a point where he never barked as much.

It's the owners fault, something the owner did to it maybe (abuse, trauma) , that makes the dog bark more then it used to or start barking more.

So the shock collar shouldn't be.

Shock collars are completely inhumane. You should be able to control your dog without administering electric shocks to it. If you can't, you don't deserve to own a dog. Anyone who uses one on their dog should have one put on themselves.
