Dog shock collars?

i think its very mean for the animal. its there nature to run free and roam around. its not the animals fault, they dont know any better. whats all you have to do is put some time and effort into the dog and train it. not give it a electric shock.

depending, it is what we now consider inhumane, but what other way do i have to keep my don;t from climbing the fence, or running out of the yard? if you sit there and hold it on max voltage for a few mins, that's inhumane, but a couple seconds on a just barley intolerable setting, that i conciser humane.

If the collar is being used to keep them from going outside of a yard to keep them safe, then I can understand, but if you're doing it because you can't properly train them to not bark constantly then you shouldn't have the dog in the first place.

I think it is extremely inhumane to use shock collars. Train your dog properly with love and encouragement and there will be no need to use such cruel devices.
