English or ur mother language

My mother language is Urdu. But i speak few more languages like English, Hindi, Telugu, somewhat french and arabic too.

I prefer English, because with that you can speak almost everywhere in the world, I can't say that about my home language.

We need them both. of course if you are on your nation, you be using you're mother language. but it is also a must to learn how to speak english because it is the universal language.

I always love to speak my mother language which is Bangla and it is the 4th language of the universe and i proud of it. I love my country i love my language and i guess we all do it.

I love to speak in my mother tongue language and speak in this language as far as possible. Then mostly speak language is Nepali language which is our country's national language. English is to communicate with foreign persons.

I choose both. My first language helps me communicate with my co-natives while my second language, English, helps me communicate to all people. The first has a personal benefit while the latter has more benefits like business opportunities.

In the Philippines, English is considered the language of power. All those in power use English and the language separates them from local and poor people who have no means of learning it. IF one here speaks in English, he is considered intelligent and smart while those who can't speak even a word or two are considered dumb and idiot. This is the sad affair Filipino is having with the English language and those who aspire of a better , it is the only way up there. I am for our native language because I believe, our country can only be great if people can fully understand one another and language would not hamper or suppress one's right to have a better life.

i think mother languages is easy for us but we need English more for many achievements in life .what do u think about this?

English is am universal language and we should all have the knowledge of this language.if you are traveling out of your zone then even if you don't know the mother tongue of other region then also you can converse using english.these days english has become mother of all other language.

We know that english is the universal language because most of us can speak and understand enlish language.it is important that we have knowledge on english to be able to communicate with others. But of course we have to love our native language!no doubt for that.
