Fear of death

No person on earth knows what will happen after death. The unknown... Why are we afraid of the dark? Because we don't know what is in the darkness... In light, we are certain that in the closet are clothes, but in darkness anything can be in that closet. It might be a ghost, or maybe even the Boogie Man.

Are you afraid of death? Or are you afraid of the pain of death? Afraid of the unknown? Afraid that you haven't experienced life to the fullest? Afraid of judgement? Afraid that death is the end?

I think death is a lot like sleep. You have no concept of time during sleep, and therefore, the moment you die you will wake up. Of course, if you have no religion, death is nothingness for eternity.

I am afraid of the pain I will suffer when I die, you never know how, when, or why you are going to die. Best thing to do is live in the moment.

I have seen a couple of torture videos and heard of people dying in painful ways.
Those are my only fears, where death is concerned.

I am not afraid of death in the least. I just wish for mine to be a painless one, with all of my offspring in good terms and financially well.

Exactly, it is the point of no return.

I would really rather die of natural causes, seeing as how you usually go peacefully.

Also, I have seen torture videos and they are quite sick.

Death is inevitable but life is finite, so we must live this to its fullest.

How do you suggest we live life to the fullest? By doing drugs and going to parties, or by donating to charity and helping the poor?

Do we even have a choice of living life to the fullest? You might be born mentally handicap, and how would you live to the fullest then?

Both. You are quite the fucking pessimist aren't you? Live it to the fullest you can live it, dimwit -.-. I have Tourettes and OCD, I'm mentally handicapped -.-.

Live your life to the fullest is the most selfish thing to say.

It depends on how you take it.
Living my life to the fullest would involve sliding through life, which I do because that is what I enjoy.

Lol, my way of living life to the fullest: ensuring others can outlive me. Is that selfish? Think first maplman, maybe YOUR way would be selfish, but mine isn't. Didn't I already say in another thread that I wish for a better world for those after me and I wish to advance our scientific knowledge to aid those people? Yeah, my purpose in life.

I'm sorry dawg, but to tell you the truth, living longer isn't even that good of a thing. People die around 70-90, but if you were to live to be over 110, that would be just horrible.

Also, you think anyone would believe that your way of living life to the fullest is helping people live longer? Because I sure dont. You're just all talk lulz.

That is my way of living life to its fullest you fucking cunt. You can't just claim you know my train of thought you dumb fuck.

There's already thousands of doctors and scientists.
Unless you cure cancer, I don't see much difference.

Sure, there are thousands, but there is so much we don't know about this world that we must find out.

Lulz? Why'd you delete your post dawg? Thanks provenance for quoting that.
