As almost every single member on FK knows now, Philly is coming up on 10K posts. I think we should do something to show our support of our admin once he reaches this feat. I know he will probably see this thread, but it doesn't matter if it's a surprise or not. I just feel like we should do something. My idea is for everyone to donate anything they can to the FK PayPal. Anything you can donate would help no matter how small. Even if a lot of you think this is a dumb idea, then I don't care. I will be donating no matter who else participates or not. I really feel like this is a great idea and Philly would appreciate it. He deserves it guys.

See, it's shit like that I hate seeing. No, I'm not an ass kisser. Philly and I have actually had a few strongly worded conversations and arguments in the past.

Then maybe you don't. This isn't just to go to Philly. Philly uses donations to put in the site. Yes he already makes a lot of money from this site, but we all know the golden rule: Too much money ain't enough money. If you want to see this site be even better then it is now, then we have to take action and keep helping every way we can. Like I said, if you think it's a dumb idea, simply don't donate. Not hard.

Exactly the way I looked at the idea. I don't see why someone would not want to do this for the site.

Well, it's a nice idea. I would donate, but I can't this month, no money. But if members want to donate for this occasion, by all means, go for it. It would help Philly out some, even though I'm sure enough people donate daily/weekly, etc to the point to it not making much of a difference.

On his birthday or wait until Christmas would make more sense though, not for his post count. I think that is when I'll be donating, to be honest.

I agree with Anxiety, sure it's a nice thing to do, and it's up to you, but is it really needed? Wouldn't a simple congrats be enough for achieving a milestone?
I mean, people are going to donate no matter what.
