Yea, I had pretty good luck as far as torrenting goes with ISPs, right now I have time warner cable, and they don't care.

Aha . I pay for two line, one for torrenting which is hooked up to my network server with 12tb of storage, and another line for my main pc and gaming stuff so I don't have to sit with high ping, and slow speeds all the time.

That's pretty cool... Quite professional actually.

I always have slow internet in my area when a lot of devices are connected to my WIFI. But what if I used my spare router and only I connected to it. Would that somehow benefit me? @Kowai

Yeah it works well for me, and when I need to reset my pc, I hook a ethernet cable in my pc to it, and transfer all my stuff over lightning fast, then i just move it back. It was a good investment for sure.

Yeah, its pretty much a fail safe machine, it runs like a tank, and built like concrete. I have an older xeon in it with 16gb of ram, and 6 WD Green 2tb hard drives. I'm going to be taking a few out and put a sata expansion card so i can add 4 WD Blacks which have a faster write speed.

It's my baby, that's for sure. My whole family uses it pretty much, but I use the majority of the space. Also, I setup things like this quite a bit at the computer repair shop I work for. We have a monopoly going being we're the only shop within 200 miles other than best buy.
