Kowai said:Aha . I pay for two line, one for torrenting which is hooked up to my network server with 12tb of storage, and another line for my main pc and gaming stuff so I don't have to sit with high ping, and slow speeds all the time.
lol you thought coreyTrap said:I really hope we end this shit within the next day or so and it gets closed. Makes it too easy to get posts.

mine seems to care a lot about it and i can't pinpoint why
Patch said:That's pretty cool... Quite professional actually.
Patch said:I always have slow internet in my area when a lot of devices are connected to my WIFI. But what if I used my spare router and only I connected to it. Would that somehow benefit me? @Kowai
you've really thought of everything my friend.Kowai said:Yeah it works well for me, and when I need to reset my pc, I hook a ethernet cable in my pc to it, and transfer all my stuff over lightning fast, then i just move it back. It was a good investment for sure.

sounds like a good idea but i doubt he'd do that tbhTrap said:I'll contact @Matigo. I've got his number. I'll tell him to narrow it down to 500 or 1000 posts.

What speeds are you paying for right now?

Patch said:Quite bad ones to be honest. The area where I live now only allows me to get around a 20mb package and I only receive around ten of it.
jesus that's better than the server i just set up for a clientKowai said:Yeah, its pretty much a fail safe machine, it runs like a tank, and built like concrete. I have an older xeon in it with 16gb of ram, and 6 WD Green 2tb hard drives. I'm going to be taking a few out and put a sata expansion card so i can add 4 WD Blacks which have a faster write speed.

And what router are you currently using, and how many devices are on it at any given time?

well that's good for you my friend.Kowai said:It's my baby, that's for sure. My whole family uses it pretty much, but I use the majority of the space. Also, I setup things like this quite a bit at the computer repair shop I work for. We have a monopoly going being we're the only shop within 200 miles other than best buy.
