Let me Re-Type this. I'm basically allergic to chemicals in meat, making me have some Nasty side effects. Going vegan isn't really a "choice" for me. Id like to thank you guys for feedback, as I know we all have different opinions here.

I doubt it's something in the Meat.
have it actually checked and diagnosed.
Meat has been around for millions of years and we've eaten it since the start. Nothing has happened until recent years when they started adding Chemicals to make it carcinogenic...
it's not the meat itself but the Chemicals.
But goodluck on your journey of being a vegan. It's going to suck ass not being able to taste the blessed chicken once a week.

So, I recently found out why I've been so sick lately, I'm allergic to something in meat from the store, I can either go vegan or pay a lot more for the same shit I was eating before. Although my family slaughters all their meat; we don't always have access to farm fresh meat.

Thanks to @Cann!bal for inspiring me, tbh I was gonna just keep eating meat.
i recently read about a guy who can only eat raw meat... .-.

Congratulations on going vegan! Glad to see you take the initiative to reduce your carbon footprint in half and save thousands of animals from a fate in the animal agriculture business.

I highly suggest you check out the movies in my signature to learn more about veganism. I promise they will be incredibly eye-opening and make you a lot happier about being vegan.

And feel free to ask me anything or talk to me about anything regarding veganism. I encourage you to do so. There's a lot of misconceptions and misinformation out there.

We don't eat anywhere near the amount of meat we eat one hundred years ago, let alone thousands of years ago. And it's not industrial chemicals in meat that make it carcinogenic - it's the naturally occurring chemicals in meat. Read the WHO report.

You don't miss out on anything when you go vegan. There are good-tasting vegan alternatives to about every animal product there is.

and there are people that are allergic to sunlight

Yeah but its a super duper rare allergy.
Probably like 1/1,000,000
Plus it's pretty easily treated. Don't expose your self to sunlight. It's only the face you'd need to properly cover since clothes cover everything else.
But yes there may be people allergic to some forms of meat but its not directly linked to the meat it self.

@Cann!bal
Haven't really read the WHO reports or whatever.
Red meat will itself probably cause you to develop cancer but if you eat meat and consume the same amount of vegetables you'll most likely be fine.
Obviously having a diet consisting of just meat is unhealthy and not many people do that anyways
