GT section for only upgraded members

So that new members with sick tags have to upgrade in order to sell them? uhm.. fuck no.

You're saying that because you're not upgraded. And no i mean we still have that normal GT section, but another one for upgraded members that only people that are upgraded can see. That's incentive enough to give back to the site, in return you can see everyones tags and +Rep peeps

Lol this is a fucking stupid idea. In the OP, He stated that an 'Upgraded GT Section' would stop turboers, Yet whoever turbos tags will just upgrade so he or she can turbo the good tags.

I would challenge you to a battle of wits sir, but i don't wanna harm a unarmed man. Listen, banned members aren't going to keep paying to upgrade brand new accounts. You're dumb if you think they will.

Philly has seen this suggestion many times before and he doesn't plan on making forumkorner into hackforums Jr.

I think its a good idea but not upgraded only members maybe make them require a certain post count to access the section pretty sure you can get a plugin made or find one for this idea.
Philly already tried doing that and he decided to take it out.

Maybe its best for upgraded member only then! i still like the idea.

Major Bump..

I think we need this because now because of all of the bannings that are occurring, I suggest there be a normal GT section for all members, but also a upgraded GT section, where to get into it, you must have a certain amount of vouches, upgrades and reputation.

Just my suggestion seeing with all the recent GT bannings over this past week, I think it would help a lot of people out, I would not think they would create accounts upgrade, get rep and get vouches just to see a gamertag section, but that is just my opinion.

Yea but I'm not upgraded sad face i really want to be in the GT section.

Yes, but I'm sure advanced members that are selling tags worth 100's of $$$ would rather have their tags then a couple of members not being able to view it.

true Philly should do it i might upgrade.

Im in. But what upgrade? If its power then I won't.

I think It would defiantly reduce the amount of accounts getting banned.

I like it, but I still think you should have to upgrade to see the upgraded one, no 200 posts or 100 rep. Like Sniper stated, you got to spend money to make money. The new members can still post their GT's in the non upgraded section. I don't see a downside to this.

I support this , at least this will motivate me to upgrade to onyx sooner :D

Me not being upgraded does not automatically make me a skid. I also don't want to be limited to only shit tags.

Well, you have to think that not many members are upgraded. If the point of this was to hide your gamertag from being banned, then this is not worth it considering they barely if even at all check. Then all of the upgraded members would put their tags in that section, and realize that they'd need to put it in the regular section for more/better sales with the regulars. I don't really see an advantage in this.

No, It doesn't, but it reduces less chances of accounts getting banned, and also, it may reduce the amount of GT's getting turboed if its only for dedicated members.

Eh no point. It will take away activity and less tags would be sold.

Just dont allow us new members to make new threads. Or make it so we need 50 posts to post in marketplace.

Also, the turboers that are going around now, over the past month, i've seen countless threads about peoples GT's getting turboed, and some people turbo for around a month, so you can't really blame them for waiting so long to transfer their gamertag.

What is that going to stop?, nothing. just because new members would not be able to make threads, does not mean that they cannot view and turbo people's tags.

Doing this wouldn't stop them from getting turbo'ed, upgraded members do that more than non-upgraded....

I see where you're coming from, but not donating doesn't mean you don't care about the site..
A minimum of 200 posts or something along those lines would be better IMO.

And no, I'm not saying this because I'm not upgraded :p

Yeah

I have alot of posts and I'm not upgraded.

Doesn't mean I don't "care" about the site, I just don't have a Paypal and I don't want to spend money on an upgrade. It's useless to upgrade imo.
