So to start out with this topic, I am going to make it as high quality as hell right now. Gun Control laws are going into effect, well trying to and I am going to be making a essay to say in front of my class in a few weeks, I will share what I got, but I want you to share your opinion as well. Basically if your against Gun Control Laws, you actually want freedom, if you are pro control laws, you are against freedom in the United States, you pick and put your answer below.

Con Gun Control Laws

General Purpose: To persuade Introduction

I. Attention Material

A. It is against our second amendment to deny the American Public access to guns. We have the right to bear arms.
B. Its our only defense against tyranny and oppression.
C. Oppression means unjust treatment and cruel control.
D. Tyranny means a government in which a single ruler is vested with absolute power.

It is perfectly fine, gun control laws are being complimented right now, but not being into effect, but I am sure they will be the way things are going.

We technically don't have the right to bear arms. We have the right to bear arms within a well regulated militia.

We both know that this is simply not true. Guns need to be regulated and controlled. I live in the murder capital of the world, and I am for gun control laws, because they will save lives. My city is ravaged by murders every single day, and I don't want it to stay that way.

I advise you to either A) buy a gun or B) Get the hell out of dodge.

What about our teachers that are getting shot up? Shouldn't they have some sort of protection towards these attacks?

Buying more guns isn't a solution. We need to regulate them well enough so that it is extremely difficult to obtain any firearm.

I would assume the laws being pushed wouldn't help much. People who mean to abuse them will still obtain them illegally. I believe it should be stopped, it kills me that people can let emotional events determine something so important rather than use their heads. We don't need to let the government enforce so many controlling laws upon us. It's disgusting.

If guns are outlawed, only outlaws will have them. People make it sound much more complex, but that is the way it works. Gun control is very strict in Mexico, but the vast majority of Mexican gun owners are with the cartel. Gun control doesn't keep thugs from getting guns and shooting people just like drug laws don't keep stoners from blazing it up. By the way if you don't want to carry a gun and you live in a bad part of town, I would get the fuck out of Chicago because it's pretty dangerous.

I never said outlaw guns. They need to be heavily regulated. You also can't just let guns be unregulated, because that would cause even more problems than outlawing them. There needs to be a solid middle-ground. As for leaving Chicago, that will never happen. You can't just run from problems, it will only make them worse. We have to work to solve them, and make the community much more safe.

I AM 100000% FOR GUNS!! It is our right to own Guns. The only reason the Government is trying to take them away is so we can't protect ourselves! Its bullshit how in the News papers you see "Kid Dies from Machine Gun" or Topics like that. I would like to say less then 200-300 Kids in America die each year (And thats being generous) from a legal gun, by legal I mean the parent in the house hold had there gun license and everything else in order to own that gun. Personally I am trying to get my gun license ASAP so I can always be protected. But I think everyone in America should have there own gun and carry it at all times. Its our right to carry and bare arms and I think people should be practicing this right more often!

Most of the killings in your city happen illegally because the people who are shooting and owning the guns don't have a license. And as for the regulating part could you be more specific as to what type of guns. Also the reason is plain and simple as to why the Government is trying to regulate guns. They don't want us to fight back like our for forefathers did.
