One of the first deals I ever did I got scammed, it was only for $40 (which I got back) and then after that I was depsrate for certain type of tag and rushed into things and lost $150
But I'm kinda of glad it happened because it made me a lot more weary online lol

Scenario.....Busy said:
1, Sold gamertag on ebay
2, Guy pays $650 AU
3, Sent the info
4, I draw out £300+ GBP (Happy old me goes on spending spree)
5, Guy disputes and says he never recieved info
6, Monies is on hold until resolved (-$650 AU In PayPal)
7, I provide proof of private messages
8, I win the dispute and money is awarded back to me
9, Happy old me goes back on spending spree
10, Guy charges back, I'm fucked, no more spending spree broke ass nigga.

I have a pretty interesting story. I wasn't "scammed" as such but I almost was.
It was back in good old MW2 days where my twelve year old ass see's a guy with a modded clantag who has just came fresh from the numerous challenge lobbies that I somehow didn't know about. Anyway, being stupid I messaged him asking him for hacks, and he said it was only recovery etc etc etc. So I finally after about 15 minutes of him convincing me he was legit, gave my details over. The guy changed my pass and went on system link for a while (I was watching my acc on my brothers xbox at the time). I then sent him tons of messages begging for my account back. The guy then responded with some advice that I still keep to this day. "Don't trust anyone, kid." and he then gave me my pass which was as simple as "GetHacked1". All I can say is I was lucky and have never been even close to scammed since.
