I am pretty sure you need to have some what of an upgrade.

You need to be in a group that has the colored name on their usergroup.

The only way to be able to change your name is to either join a group. The group requests can be found here. You can also upgrade to Power and have a blue username, which can be found here.

If you get POWER+ you get this sexy ass username color.

I read a thread about this earlier. To get Power+ you must have a certain amount of posts, time online, and reputation. You do not meet these requirements.
