I don't think homosexual couples deserve the same benefits that married couples receive. I am not against them but homosexuality in my mind has to be some illness or disease simply because our goal is to reproduce something that homosexuality goes completely against.

It goes completely against it. Lets say we have a species who's population was two males and one female. Now lets say that both males of our species were homosexual therefore they showed no sexual interest in the female. No reproduction would occur and the population would go extinct. Its our biological goal to reproduce as much as we can, females more selective since they can only be impregnated x times while the male can just impregnate multiple mates at once.

i know what you mean. It's just that, if it was possible, they would be doing it too. They don't say, "Lets rebel and go gay so we can't make babies anymore."
Gay marriages are going to end up abolishing the population though. I don't know if that's good or bad.

Exactly,like I wouldn't mind seeing two girls showing their love for eachother in public,but with men it's a whole different picture you know. We are MEN we are supposed to be BADASS and tough, not a sissy, now dont get me wrong, I also have a female side I'm a very sensitive person but I think you guys get the point.

Now some could argue that homosexuality is a disease that we must have to help keep populations under control. I can't remember his name sorry but basically he said (I agree) that poverty, disease, and war were necessary to keep populations under control. The species themselves should be attempting to repopulate as much as they can and unlike a scenario where a man has damaged reproductive organs the homosexuals choose not to reproduce. Therefore I believe homosexuality is a disease that should be left alone as it does provide some type of control on population. Homosexuals do not deserve equals rights and benefits regarding marriage and the issue of adoption is a bit to complex for me to have a strong thought on

I also think it's a mental disease developed throughout life, not when you were born.

It shows immaturity to laugh at my argument without comprehending it or the usage of words. A disease is "an impairment of health or a condition of abnormal functioning". Since I stated that its our function to reproduce it would be an abnormality to be homosexual.

I also think it's a mental disease developed throughout life, not when you were born.

The whole I was born with it idea is another issue to complex for me to give definite answer. It could well be your born with the disease or abnormality that causes homosexuality but I don't think we have enough knowledge on that to make a call
