Pretty sure this is real, me and several other people have been debating it for a while and we're like 99% certain this technology is legit.

Foxsports even vouches for it.

Also if you pay attention to the video they use a remote control, and they covered the pedestrians street view with black garbage bags to stop the public from seeing.

Seems like legit behavior.

As far as technology goes the general public gets access to most high grade technology approx 30 years after it's available to the higher ups in society, or rather those with the right connections and money.

Yeah here is the legit foxsports post you where talking about... http://msn.foxsports.com/southwest/...ong-first-to-try-first-real-hoverboard-030414

Idk why people are skeptical but I honestly believe it as being real, I cannot see Tony Hawk potentially ruining his reputation over a hoax. I skated for basically 10 years and I just can't see him being in a hoax to this proportion.

Maybe he is just playing a prank on all of us? It's obviously working. Getting someone you wouldn't think would lie to lie.

I mean think about it, 100 years ago if you told people about Boeings they'd say there was no way in hell that was possible.

If we can build one of those, we can certainly build a hoverboard, the only thing stopping corporations from throwing money at it was a good solid ROI. Which is why I think they're promoting this video to see how much interest it generates.

My buddy has a hovercraft, I know those are possible, and he has had it for about 8 years from what I remember. I think in at least 8 years of being able to do hovercrafts, hoverboards could easily be real now.

Yeah made with a modded vac right?

FUCK YES!

Gotta get me one of these, as well as the Nike shoes that strap themselves.

You mean Nike Air Mags? That version is releasing next year.

How did it hover though?

It looks to me like those hoverboards don't use air pressure.

I am not sure tbh.. I am sure these use air its just more compact, and small.

I doubt they are releasing them. They already made a few, but they only sold at charities for Michael Fox.

There's sample pairs that have been out, but they sell at $5,000+. They're releasing them in 2015 with power laces, it got announced.

People still think this is real even though you can see the back of EVERYONE'S shirt lifting when they go up into the air. Crane much.

This popped up in my what to watch feed last night, along with all the other weird you like. Haha. This isn't available on mobile, but I watched their other video and wasn't too sure of it. At the end there's a guy on one pushing on air. It'd be sick if this is real though.

If at any chance these are real, they don't use air -- they're magnets that use metals in the ground to hover...

Unfortunately, this technology is nonexistent.

You might say, "hey, it looks real", there is NOOO way that some random company came up with electromagnetic hover technology before massive governments spending millions trying to create the technology could.

This can't be real, people are taking it way too seriously.

It's a fun video but not possible.

Also, air pressure cannot possibly come out of a board that small if you think it's air pressure, that's wrong too. It would make a lot more sound too, if air.

One more thing:

Here's a photo of the shoot and you can obviously see a crane off to the right in the background.

Saying they do not exist is like saying Santa does not exist! Best argument ever to prove that this video isn't fake.
