Bit said:Pretty sure this is real, me and several other people have been debating it for a while and we're like 99% certain this technology is legit.
Foxsports even vouches for it.
Also if you pay attention to the video they use a remote control, and they covered the pedestrians street view with black garbage bags to stop the public from seeing.
Seems like legit behavior.
As far as technology goes the general public gets access to most high grade technology approx 30 years after it's available to the higher ups in society, or rather those with the right connections and money.
Philly said:Yeah here is the legit foxsports post you where talking about... http://msn.foxsports.com/southwest/...ong-first-to-try-first-real-hoverboard-030414
Idk why people are skeptical but I honestly believe it as being real, I cannot see Tony Hawk potentially ruining his reputation over a hoax. I skated for basically 10 years and I just can't see him being in a hoax to this proportion.

Bit said:I mean think about it, 100 years ago if you told people about Boeings they'd say there was no way in hell that was possible.
If we can build one of those, we can certainly build a hoverboard, the only thing stopping corporations from throwing money at it was a good solid ROI. Which is why I think they're promoting this video to see how much interest it generates.
Philly said:My buddy has a hovercraft, I know those are possible, and he has had it for about 8 years from what I remember. I think in at least 8 years of being able to do hovercrafts, hoverboards could easily be real now.
Bit said:Yeah made with a modded vac right?
Philly said:No it is a legit hovercraft, it was custom made. They are rich as fuck.
Poison said:FUCK YES!
Gotta get me one of these, as well as the Nike shoes that strap themselves.
Bit said:Damn, and I thought I knew some rich people.
How'd they make it?
Bape said:You mean Nike Air Mags? That version is releasing next year.
Philly said:It was made out of fiberglass I think.
Bit said:How did it hover though?
It looks to me like those hoverboards don't use air pressure.
Poison said:I doubt they are releasing them. They already made a few, but they only sold at charities for Michael Fox.
Bape said:There's sample pairs that have been out, but they sell at $5,000+. They're releasing them in 2015 with power laces, it got announced.
Philly said:I am not sure tbh.. I am sure these use air its just more compact, and small.
