ashes will be able to be 'scattered' no one knows what the xp will be like but from what i read it will be the fastest way, because you can use them at the ecto functus without grinding them and still get that extra experience.. there are also 3 types of ashes that will be dropped, sort of like bone < big bones < dragon bones. but with ashes its impious < accursed < infernal. infernal dropping from monsters like black, abyssal and tormented demons, nechryaels, and most boss demons.

so i suggest you get rid of all your dragon bones so you dont lose lots of money incase ashes turn out to be better
