How to keep your PC Secure??

Hi Friends,,
I created this thread to ask all you certain ways of keeping your PC secure because just yesterday my antivirus found virus in my mail and so i want to be more cautious about this...so please express your information with your best knowledge

I never open links/emails that i find suspicious. I have microsoft security essentials running, and it hasnt let any unwanted stuff to affect my PC.

Personnlly, I have BitDefender, to AV and firewall. Also Ccleaner, to clean HD and register, and i watch the msconfig services

i never use anti virus software coz it makes everything run slower so i do not open any exe until i make sure is clean.

Totally untrue. Unless you downloaded some totally busted up virus software or the last time you used virus software was 1890, virus softwares do not lag up computers at all.

I personally use Norton 360 Premier Edition and it's amazing.

Norton 360 made my PC slow as hell! All norton products lag my PC up.

Stay away from unwanted sites and be safe, you wont need an antivirus.

i have many 3 software installedt to my pc that make it secure, antivirus is there to stop virus fromthecomputer, ccleaner that will cleans to my computer and speedupmypc to makespeed to my pc for daily used

i think hAving a updated antivirus and switching on windows update is more than enough
