Requesting is not a simple as many people think, because of this people tend not to add all the needed info to there request. This thread aims to change that and I hope it will, you see I have been looking at most of the requests and I have seen that a majority off them are rather bad. If a request is bad then the work you get will not be good either, the better the request the better the result! So I will label this thread into sections that will explain each and every thing you should have in your requests from now on, just remember that this is not a must! It is only recommendations that I would recommend you too use.

What You Want To Request?
Of course you will need too say what you want, be that a signature, banner or something else. But the most important thing to remember is to say everything you want. Saying you want a signature with a character for a game won't cut it. You will need to be as specific as you can, give as much detail of what you want as you can. Don't be afraid to over-do it as the more info the more the creator has to work with. The more you fill in your request the better the result you will get back, but make sure not to make it impossible for the creator to understand what you mean.

What Info And Files Should I Add?
Now this is were I see most people do it wrong, they don't add enough info to what they want. Which is really annoying for people that want to do the request, as it may mean that the creator will have to ask the requester questions about what they want just because the requester didn't add it in the original post. Which is pointless and time consuming, and it will do that the request might be easier forgotten.

On to what info and files you should have in your request then.

There are just a few small things you should add, those are the resources needed to fulfill the request and the general info like size and colors. If there are some of these resources you are wondering what are then its a FAQ at the bottom of this thread. You should at least have 3-4 of these in your request, depending on your request of course.
  • Render (s)
  • Font (s)
  • Picture (s)
  • Stock (s)

These are all that make up most request unless you can come up with something that is really unique to request. As I have already said, if you don't understand what these means then take a look at the bottom of this thread for a FAQ explaining all of them in the order that they are listed here.

What Is And What Isn't General Info?
General info can mean a lot too different people, but when requesting General Info is the most important things. You should always have all of them with in your request and they aren't too hard to figure out either.
  • Pixel Size ( Example: 200x200 )
  • Color (s) Optional
  • Text (s) Optional
  • Description ( Of your request )
