How Young Is Too Young?

I'd like to know where people stand on this.
I see kids now in my neighborhood that are in 4th-6th grade smoking weed. Sometimes I see them doing it out in the streets. Mainly with their older siblings' friends, sometimes with their family members (uncles, cousins, etc.). Even with their parents, which I think is sad.

I have two questions:
1. Would you let your child/sibling smoke that young? (Assuming you would let your child/sibling smoke).
2. Do you think that smoking at that age is too young?

I wouldn't let me Kid / Sibling smoke if they were that young. And hell yeah I think that age is to young.

I think over the age of 13-14 it's fine. Prior to that is terrible. Those kids have bright futures, but their going to throw it all away if they get on a track like that so early, when they're still so impressionable.

Why so? Marijuana is legal in several American states, plus several respectable European countries, so it can't be that bad.

Main reason...
it changes people. When a friend of mine is high... i feel like im talking to a different person. i don't like that.
Plus i don't need drugs and shit to have a good time/relax...so i never understood why people do it. prolly just me

I see your point. I can't really speak much on the subject, but I suppose many people do it just to fit in with a crowd. That's sad, but if you're doing marijuana legitametly to just relax, especially if you find it hard to relax, I see no problem with it.

Yeah if you actually have a issue where you can't stop moving & have stress 24/7.. then i would have no problem with it.
Also for people with a sickness/disease such as cancer

Totally man. Agree with you there, it's used as a medicine all over the place.

I really misinterpreted the title.

If they're doing it for medicinal related reasons, I wouldn't mind. As regards to age limit, long as they know how to smoke it properly when using it for medicinal reasons, I see no real limit.
