Lol, it's pretty broad considering Programming involves computers, Graphics does, Music does. Most of the stuff you do online, involves a computer...

Computer award can mean many things.....

If it was 'Computer Specialist' then it's different...

"No, a computer award given to members who assist in white hat help and computer assisting."

I don't know how you can honestly say that you think this is too broad.

That's why I said "90% of your post"...

We don't need to be specific with everything. For example, Programmer Award. There are many different languages out there. So what you are saying is that if someone is experienced in one language they shouldn't get it because it is too broad?
If we start branching out awards, then having over 9000 different awards would just be ridiculous.

Like I said before, Computer as a word relates to the physical aspect. If you say you are going to go buy a computer, you are buying hardware which is physical.

I know you're not talking to me, but I'll reply to this anyway.

The reason I said it is too narrow, is because of the nature of the suggestion itself. Are we (you) agreeing with him, because you think he, even though he is just an occasional helper, should get his own award, or are you agreeing because you think it would make a good award.

Helper
Contributor
Diamond
etc
etc

Now, how many people would qualify for an award of that sort?

All awards can't be broad. Hell, a lot of our awards are narrowed down to a category. Why? Because awards are suppose to be something that you earn and show off. If it is a broad award, then more people have potential of earning and the more people that have kind of defeats the purpose of it being something to be proud of. We have a "Programmer" award, we have a "Graphics Artist" award, why can't we have a "Computer" award(I say computer, because I feel that the word computer is talking about the physical aspect). This is a reasonable award to add and Inxy deserves this award because through his help, he has shown his knowledge of computers (No where did we say this would only be for one person). People want more awards, so we make them and give them to people who deserve it, but we can't give to everyone.

Awards are like Money: The more you create, the less the value.

The amount of reading you did perplexes me.

Explain.

Edit: Actually, I don't care tbh.
Being knowledgeable in computer hardware fits in with programming and gfx awards.
Inxy deserves the award.
That is all.
