to many HF referrances. This is Runescape Forums. And I know we have at least one member that doesn't even know what HF is. It's an entirely different site, and I don't think it should be discussed here anymore.

Or at least minimize it to PMs.

EXAMPLE.

any new member would look at that and think WTF is he talking about.

the meaning of the quote, is HF sucks, nobody wants it in a good forum, stop talking about it, there is a big difference between "Hacking" and "Runescape" lets put the Hacking taalk to Hackforums, and the Runescape talk to Runescapeforums.

I totally agree, there should be a new rule and give warnings next time.

We are not HF, we are not associated with HF in anyway.

Well, I don't think people should be banned by referring to HF, but I beileve everyone should know that who you are on HF doesn't mean shit here.

Were a young forum atm, and I can understand people saying, "hey you may know me from HF." On the other hand, I see were you would get upset about the individuals who say, "Dude you can trust me, check my rep on HF."

Nope. The "young forum" thing also consist of members from Runescape who have never heard of HF. And I'd ideally like there to be NO talk of HF because then those who have never heard of it, will.

There shouldn't be warnings for talking about another site unless that site is bad for this site. You wouldn't warn me for saying RSbots or Impsoft, why would you get mad if I said HF? I rarely see people referencing it, so the few times you do, you shouldn't get your panties in a knot.

Read a page back, Carbon agrees. And it's because that's a really popular site. And as I've explained meaningless times, not that many people will even know what HF is in the future. As far as the sites that you're mentioning go, I'm confident a large portion of RS players know what they are.
