I'm tired of the HF talk

There shouldn't be warnings for talking about another site unless that site is bad for this site. You wouldn't warn me for saying RSbots or Impsoft, why would you get mad if I said HF? I rarely see people referencing it, so the few times you do, you shouldn't get your panties in a knot.

You don't see it because it gets removed.

We don't want things carrying over from HF to this site.

RSBots and Impsoft are Runescape sites, and HF is a hacking site.

Come on. This is a RS cheating community. That INCLUDES hacking. You embraced it by your OWN DESCRIPTIONS. If you're gonna cry because there's another site out there that conducts it's hacking in a better manner than this website, you should leave the internet. It's not a place for people who get butt hurt about someone being better than them.

HF is an amazing resource for so many things. Tuts, Hacking, hell, even cheap ass services AND accounts. You built SO MUCH of your community from advertising within HF, then you turn around and bite the hand that feeds you. People will continue to flock in from HF no matter what because you all boast your RSF signatures there proudly.

If you want to stop teh HF talk, stop recruiting from HF. Get members a regular way rather than leeching off of a parent board.

Haha. I actually only have an account that has 19 posts or 16 posts. I just use common sense, rather than an immovable wall of loyalty to something that shouldn't back away after they've leeched.

I have no problem with anyone leeching off of another website. That's not my issue. My issue is doing so then just being like K WE DONE WE NEVER SPEAK OF THIS AGAIN.

You make a very good point, but if we talk about hacking too much we will lose support of a very good MyBB user.

I thank you aswell for not taking it too negatively. I expected the moderators (I don't know who, just hear it) to just ban outright cause they're all friends of the admins. Atleast, that's whats posted all over the forums. Thanks for actually having a brain.

So you want to stray from hacking itself? But you embrace hacking. Look at your achievements forum. If you want to stop the whole 'hacking' bit, rework your forums. Advertise elsewhere.

Keeping in mind this is ONE moderator who created this topic. Carbon says he agrees, but what now? I apologize if I am acting rash, but it's going to take more than just a wordfilter on HF to fix everything. Change your adveritising sources, change your wording, change your forums. You guys are 2 weeks old and already having an intensity crisis?

The results of hacking and the actual hacking itself are two different things. People need to stay away from hacking discussion not the results of their hacking.

As for HF, heh, if I see anybody discuss it I'll take a quick look at what's going on in the thread and decide from there. :nod:

Saged has the perfect idea. I mean, what's the harm in "Yeah I saw that on HF" and "Check this out on HF". Then again, wheres the line drawn between that last one, and "Hey, i saw something like this on HF, but its better. here: link" I mean come on. Crack down on your hacking related things, not just HF. HF is an amazing community built on more than just hacking =) that's all I ask.
