Easier to jailbreak iOS, more features for iOS after jailbreaking, if jailbroken you can get almost every application with installous. On android it will take a long time to find the apps. On iPhone atm so will take forever to write a long post.

Wrong Maxie, you can root Android phones real easily. It's not that hard. You can over-clock a 1GHz android phone to 1.2GHz. It just takes a little knowledge. iDevices you have to download some program, and my friends have gotten viruses from some of them.

Androids for a few reasons:
1. Free market, it doesn't have to be "approved" by google, unlike Apple
2. $25 lifetime fee for the market, opposed to $99/year + YOU NEED A MAC
3. Developers can work through a: PC/Linux/Mac no problem
4. Almost anything you want is free in the market
5. You don't essentially need to root your phone to do stuff that you normally you cant do. I can customize everything, but rooting lets me: Get rid of bloatware, wifi tether, and over/underclock
6. Android power > iPhone power
7. Android has widgets...
8. Google Navigation (Free GPS compared to iPhone)
9. Console emulators directly in the market, as well as music downloaders! Fuck other apps like installous
10. Anti-viruses
11. Lot's of paid apple features are free for android (Like google is coming out with their cloud storage for us, similar to the backup iCloud feature of iPhone)
12. Android = better resolution
13. Talk to search/call/navigate/etc...

Should I go on?

I'll go on anyway.

14. More buttons, like back/home/search/volume buttons. Not stuck with only 1 circle
15. Get a phone the way you like, you're not stuck with only 1 design, android is just an os, so the phone's can all be different.
16. Backup/restore apps, or app data
17. SD Cards 'nuff said
18. Use your phone like a flash drive
19. You don't need to sync with iTunes to get your music on your favorite music player
20. You can download music and play it with your music player on the go, in like 20 seconds from a free app in the market. iTunes doesn't have to be synced or anything
21. If you have a problem with your phone, take it to your phone company! Apple requires that all broken products to be sent to them, and you can't get it replaced immediately. In other words, you don't need to wait for someone to approve of you getting a new phone because the old one was broken.

I'll think of more, but that's all I got for now.

Apple is money hungry. How do you think they surpassed Google with net income? Money hungry schemes like having you send in your phone to get a replacement, etc. The whole reason I am getting an android phone over an iPhone is the SD card deal. The 32GB iPhone 4 is $300. A 16GB android phone is $200, and with another $20-$40, you can add another 32GB SD card to your phone. I have a lot of music, so I need a lot of the storage an android phone can provide me.
