Might be that Moses hates gays. I partially agree.

Thanks for proving my point that the Bible is unreliable.

any "fact" or quote from the bible in my eyes is ridiculous. That is an ancient text, and it will have its share of semi-accurate predictions. The guy who predicted 2012 made so many predictions, and eventually one came true. I've had my fair share of miracles, such as surviving 9/11 when I live only a few blocks a way with only a little lung problem. I do not credit that to god, I credit that to luck

Only because God never aproved Bible but I believe everything that was written about Jesus' life in general is true.

I'm not gay.

And I don't believe in God, or any god i'm a very firm atheist.

I myself am an atheist, but not by choice you see. My parents have grown up where they haven't gone to a church, mosque, temple, or anything of the sort. They never really had the time as they all grew up working at a restaurant by the age of 12 and my dad ran away at 15. It sort of kept going that way, as I myself am working at the age of 15. I never really have time to learn the ways of any religion, unless one of those is science. I understand that everything changes by expansion of the cells and matter, but it all had to start somewhere so I like to believe there was a "force" (aka God) that started something. But in all honesty if he did anything at all he's stopped and let everything work how it does, on its own.

If God never approved the Bible, How would anyone know if God actually did approve something?

Who can prove to me that God is in fact real?
Someone tell me how God is so good.

To me, this is a untestable idea, therefore you cannot prove if someone or something is there or not.

Maybe he's real, if so, I don't believe he is a human.

People say that he is a soul not a human.
But then again I don't believe in God.

I'm trying to come to a conclusion. I believe the only two reasonable solutions are atheism and deism. I only say deism because of the cosmological argument...

1. Whatever begins to exist has a cause.
2. The Universe began to exist.
3. Therefore, the Universe had a cause.

In other words something cannot come from nothing, there needs to be a cause. But that argument is still contradictory, because if God is the creator of the universe, then who created God? Like the logic of the cosmological argument proclaims "Whatever begins to exist has a cause.", there's is a necessity of a creator or a cause to exist. That's one of the reasons why I'm leaning towards atheism foremost rather than deism.

Also, for people who believe that the universe is fine tuned and that is proof of a divine being, then why is our galaxy the Milky Way heading on a straight collision with the Andromeda galaxy? Things like this and other disasters like it are happening to galaxies far away each and every day. How is that fine tuned?

Going to review some points I haven't made.

Also, watch this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=endscreen&v=9FiHRVb_uE0&NR=1 http://youtu.be/8P2mS-AImeY and read this: http://skepticsannotatedbible.com/cruelty/long.html

If you don't believe in God, what is there to live for? There's no ultimate goal, no afterlife.

Why does life need a purpose or a goal?

But he(God) is outside the system and is far from the christian definition.

How can something exist outside space(assuming that's what you meant by "outside the system.")? You must exist within space to exist. Saying God exists outside time and space is an illogical cop-out.

Paul H. said:
The definition of God is a being that is outside of time, omnipotent, and hence doesn't need to be created.

"Saying God exists outside time and space is an illogical cop-out."
God is obviously not omnipotent.

Obviously there isn't really any solid physical proof, but if you believe, and devote yourself to the religion, you will indeed see that God, is very much, indeed, REAL.

You could say the same about the Flying Spaghetti Monster. I hope you see my point.

Cole said:
Generally, Christians live longer and happier lifes than those who aren't... (this is a statistic I read a year ago) and it is indeed accurate.

I much rather live in a life of reality than a delusional one.

You sure would have wasted your life and looked like a fool from my perspective. You do not need something imaginary to guide you in the right direction.

It seems sometimes religious people have more common sense than non-religious.

Hahahhahahahhahahahhahahahhahaha, nice joke.

I'd rather waste my time thinking there's a heaven then ignoring it and then go to hell when you die. Honestly there's nothing to lose.

Nothing to lose? Has the thought that you're believing in the wrong God ever crossed your mind? The Flying Spaghetti Monster could be the one true God for all we know.

Cole said:
I know he still does exist , I'm saying because you ask who created God... what if he was never created, just always there.

That's also an illogical cop-out.

I'll continue doing this tomorrow.
