Hmmm. Interesting question, to be honest. I do believe strongly in self defense. You have every right to defend yourself no matter what, if your life is in danger. They already made the choice for themselves, you just need to answer their choice. As for taking another life to save someone else. That is a yes from me as well, mostly because of my military background. Kind of learn that in training and of course if the RoE's (Rules of Engagement) allow it.

Personally, I have taken a life to protect the lives of my squad when I was overseas, but I can say the first time you do take someone's life. It's not an easy choice, morally, but of course you need to do it without hesitation, or it will just be a huge cluster fuck in the end. The question is very open and can have tons of answers to it, depending on the situation and the morals of the one answering it.

There are differnt reasons for everything example if someone murders people for fun then they should be murdered but if your defending yourself then i think its fine.

Wow this was the greatest read so far. How did it feel personally ending ones life?

LOL, you just literally pulled out the dictionary for this one.
Anywho, I believe that it is not fair to take ones life UNLESS it is in an act of self-defense. If another man/woman is trying to kill you I believe you have the right to defend yourself with the same exact force of which they're using.

I wouldn't say it's fair, but under the right circumstances I think it's justified. If I fear mine, or someone else's life, I believe it's justified. Otherwise, no.

At first, it felt strange. You really don't realize how easy it is to do it. The remaining of my tour, I felt it easier to take a life that I needed too. But the first time, it weighed on my mind for about a week. Thinking I just killed someone. Someone who was human, had a family, a mother, etc. But then I got thinking about what would have happened IF I didn't do it. Lots of mixed emotions, especially since I was only 19 years old my first tour.

But that being said, I obviously have different views, personally than others on this topic. Reason pretty obvious.

-In a war scenario absolutely. It is you or them. If you do not kill them they will kill you with out a thought or hesitation.

- If you are being robbed at weapon point, and you have a weapon of your own, absolutely. I personally aim to hurt some one if possible first though.

- Some one kills a family member of mine, they beat the trial through jury, ya I am going to find them and kill them slowly and painfully.

-Some one talks shit, no that is just ignorant. Walk away or just kick the shit out of them.

-serial killers, na that shit aint cool what they are doing.

-Child molestors, this is a touchy subject for some. I feel that if one molest children / rape some one they deserve to be incarcerated and deal with the inmates (they tend to kick the shit out of the dude quite often lol.
a. If they do it repeatidly I feel that they should be sentenced to death.

Yes. Absolutely it can be considered fair under certain circumstances. I met someone once, and I swear he was the walking definition of evil. When he finally got himself killed, people were happy. That's the kind of thing I'm talking about.
