There was a girl at my college who had down syndrome, and everyone would laugh at her because of her disability and the fact that she was always alone.

So every lunch, I got myself and my friends to go and sit with her and talk to her so she didn't feel excluded from the rest of society.

It may not seem a lot to you, but that one small thing meant a massive deal to her.

Narrow minded people who laugh at anyone who is disabled really grinds my gears!
