Movies Versus Books

A question came up the other day and it waso you think the book is better than the movie? Are there any exceptions? A lot of movies are made after the book is writen and my first response was that the book is always better than the movie.
However,after giving the question some thought I did find two noteable exceptions to that rule of thumb.Number one,the harry potter book.I read the first harry potter book and I was not impressed at all.I just did not like it very much.I thought the movie was way better than the book.

I think reading the book is awesome and gives you a longer refreshing of mind and visual impact in mind where as you see a movie and forget it sooner or later. But i love to watch the movies too. At times its best to read the series novel.

watching movies is entertaining because you can their actions, but reading books is more interesting because you can totally read the whole story.

well for me. I like more action so I prefer watching movies. Books kinda bores me because there is no action in it, but honestly books have the most of the story compared to the movie evil:

I like the movies because I do not read much anymore. I spend way too much time on the internet to read books at all. So movie is definitely the way to go for me.

i usually don't like to read books..so i like movies than books..because in movies there is visual scenes..but we have to imagine the scenes when reading a book.

For my opinion i will go with books coz it is better to read books than to watch movies,if you read the book it will help you to increase in concentration power.

I like reading books than watching movies, while reading books, we have the ability to increase our knowledge. I am not at all interested in movies, so i go for books.

i think the book is better than the movie because the stories in books are more complete than movies. for example, the book of twilight is good but the movie is not. a lot of people who read the book are disappointed after they watch the movie. however, i cannot tell if this applies to every movies.. so far, this is my assessment
