I'm a business major, I understand economics, but there's more to it in this case and several ways to at least slightly increase the value, and I don't believe buying a group and selling it almost instantly is one of them. This isn't about how many groups there are necessarily because there's nothing we can do about that, it's about what we can do and have control over. And yeah lol, don't do it again.Shift said:

The HF group set up is really good but I know Philly doesn't like it but groups on there go for nice amounts of money. Well most of our site is mostly full of kids who get allowances and have to save up to buy a group.
The only thing we could really do would be a group buy back but I doubt that's ever gonna happen on a such a large scale that it would fix the market.
I miss spam contests : )

@greed they don't realize that within the last 2 weeks, Philly has deleted 2 groups so far and stopped selling newly created groups. This will increase the price at a really small level, but it still benefits the group market for owners. They rather bitch and moan in opposed to look at the positives.Sector said:

If you don't put at least 3 OGs on your resume, good luck getting a job. Also if you include the amount of money you've spent on internet handles in there, you will for sure get the job (assuming it's $1500+).
If you include your online time it will show you are dedicated, and your post/thread count will show you work hard, and will speak your voice and contribute in many ways. Forum life is best life.

@sector regardless of which way you want to see this, the increase of one product will decrease the value, some users no longer have a reason to keep they're groups, yes low other users to purchase said groups and then they can "attempt" to steadily increase the value of groups, I've owned three groups here longer then any 2014, the only other people who've kept they're groups longer is/was Immortals/Mob as far as I know. You want to rant about people selling groups fair is fair, but regardless of your rant they'll continue to do as they please.

Ownership requirements would not be able to be implemented. We'd have to strip current owners of his/her group(s).. it's not possible. It'd be nice if it were.Deviate said:
