man, i have to disagree with all of you here, i think alienwares are the best, i got the m11x and its the best laptop i got. I have used the desktops, yes they are expensive and yes your paying for the name mostly, but they are soo powerfull and you can play high powered games on it. People only get alienware laptops, so they can play the high powered games. Yes you can build your own, but i'd rather have a sexy high powered computer, than just a normal high powered one.

Yes, the parts are expensive, because its now under Dell's ownership, ever since Dell took over alienware, there prices have risen, if they were still an indapendant company they would be cheaper, but i still have to vouch for these computers, they are amazing to have, but my little m11x can't handle adobe premier, which is the only problem with this laptop, otherwise all is good,

Well in my opion i'd perfer to have an alienware, you have to be able to use the best of the best to be able to comment, and i lucky have , and i'd rather go for a alienware computer anyday, yes they are more expensive but if you got the money for it, go for it -.- geeze,

No, i like wasting my money on something that is asthetically pleasing, powerfull and something to have under the desk that i can be proud of that i saved up and worked hard enough to be able to get a good computer that it powerfull enough for me

my new desktop is better then most Alienware desktops.

i built it last month for around 1000 bucks. +tax and shipping.

I can play crysis 2 on highest settings really really smoothly.
