I don't support, the forum is still growing.
The idea is that it grows with decent quality posts, not bullshit posts.
And it's easy to tell the members that are raging against me because of what I said about RS. Good job.
I don't understand why you're complaining in all honesty. You're Moderator of that section. Just because the Lobby has gotten an extra boost in activity doesn't mean anything.
If a thread is spam/low quality, you have the ability to close/trash the thread. If it's not low quality, then you have no basis to complain against.
Sure, but the problem is when the low quality threads are coming at a rate faster than which I can regulate them. That's when we need to take measurable action. Why bust my hump, or have users go all out reporting threads and thus creating far too much work for staff when you have the ability to adress the issue at it's roots?

If we start with high quality, it will grow to be high quality.
New members will come and see it's high quality and try to meet that standard of quality.
You want to give new members a level to aim for. That's one of the biggest problems. Every new user that comes here sees all the shit in the lobby and just downgrades their quality to match it, regardless of whether they initially had the potential to be better. I can only do so much as the lobby mod, especially when you guys are making all these contests without so much as a regulation against the type of posts to be made (ie: the quality).
Your forum is growing. Take precaution and it the right way. Don't make the same mistake HF did. Once there's too much LQ, it's done. A reform will be impossible. Take my advice. I had a chance to regulate HF's Lounge for a bit more than a day and now I've been doing RG's lobby for a couple of months and it's clear that's straight for what we're heading.
