Off-site Scams

I'm almost certain that users will never be banned for scamming off-site. I think that putting users that scam off-site into DWC is a better possibility, but I also think that if you're not willing to take 10 seconds to send a simple on-site PM then you're not taking the correct safety precautions and that it's your own fault for not doing so.

There are always exceptions to the rules, especially when @Philly is the site owner and can ban anyone for whatever reason he wants.

I agree with you in all terms, and appreciate the response. I think some form of punishment or cautionary procedure that all members can recognize should be done, even if someone is an idiot for not spending the extra 30 seconds to PM on-site

If someone scams me offsite and their Kik/Skype/Gamertag/whatever is in their bio and they contact me from a platform with the username in their bio, I expect them to get banned.

That's what this suggestion practically refers too, because technically regardless of the proof, the scam was offsite... That's what I'm trying to fix...
