Looks bad IMHO.
COD is all about releasing the same game over and over with tweaks to the maps, looks and weapons. They have used the same graphics engine for like 3-4 editions now without major improvements. The animations look horrible even for a cinematic singleplayer with pre-set animations.
I expect this to be a new COD BlackOps re-packaged and new maps, and it will be praised as being revolutionary
Wouldn't surprise me if this game used a CPU based physics engine.

I haven't even heard about it until he said something. I think it's a bunch of horse shit, but I just dropped it when he never responded to the thread again. ANY sort of proof at all would be awesome.

True. But, you can rate it on all the info we have so far (more than half of the game has been leaked) and the trailer which shows some gameplay.
I'd say this game is going to tie up with BF3. It's hard to say since MW has a better rep in terms of good games.

Not going to lie, you seem pretty mad about recent CoD games. Being bad on the multiplayer aspect of the game doesn't make it a bad game. It will still sell more than any other game to date just because of the recent rep it has with MW2 and it's release. BF3 will be fucking amazing, but it doesn't stop MW3 selling millions of copies on the first week.

Trust me, this is the same old engine from MW2 with enhanced physics running on the CPU (like Havoc for Dice) and polish in graphics. Unless they moved to a new engine which doesn't perform better at all

Who said I'm bad. COD MW2 was actually a very nice game to play, however it didn't really bring anything new to the table. Not one time did I classify COD as a bad all-round game I was merely stating my opinion on the advancements in Graphics, physics and effects.
Also never in my post did I ever state that COD wouldn't sell. It is obvious if you look at the amount of 12-13 year old playing it, they account for over 50% of the players, that's common knowledge. Not that this is a bad thing, just that it may have an impact on sales. I like MW2 myself but the Black Ops edition was far to buggy.

Once MW3 comes out, then you can judge the graphics and game mechanics all you want. I'm not saying you can't post what you want, but it just makes the posts look off-topic.

But, for some reason I think MW3 will differ greatly from previous games. If it doesn't I will agree that it is trash.

The only area where MW3 can possibly compete with Battlefield is sales and reputation (COD will obviously sell more). However if this is NOT a rushed game and does indeed have mixed contents of Black Ops / MW2 once with some decent physics and a great weapon selection I might consider buying bought BF3 and MW3 as COD is aiming for being Mainstream playable. BF3 requires more intensive specs.

You look at the skins. Obviously they are taking the Bug-Free-Ness of MW2 and fusing it together with Black Ops to create the game Black Ops should have been originally, with probobly enhanced physics and a better weapon selection. Though I would surely like to see some graphical improvement though I won't expect it until MW4.

I was basing my opinion on your trailer.
However Activition can't afford to run on a much better engine. Remmember that COD is and has for eternity been Mainstream centric.
It has focused on increasing performance however keep it so low that it can run on older machines. The main reason COD is always re-packaged and there is no TRUE new content is because they can't allow themself to loose a major customer base.
Just saying if you take that into consideration, my opinion doesn't seem so distant

I'd rather prefer CoD over BF3 just because of the arcade aspect of MW games. BFBC2 with 3 other bros were the best gaming experiences ever. Can't wait until BF3 comes out to check that shit out. I'm making sure I buy both as soon as they come out.

I will most certainly buy both. The only thing which stopped me from purchasing Black Ops was the immense bugges related to the PC aspect

I see what you are saying about performance and running it on older machines, but wouldn't that only be included into the PC gaming aspect of MW3?
