That is a rule @Philly created but I'm sure some people don't follow it.

People don't like paying for MMs, and I agree. I wouldn't either. That being said, the free MMs are people not very known in the marketplace, never online when you need them, or just not willing to MM. I am highly considering becoming an MM because I've gotten like 10 PMs as of 2015 about it.

I believe you shouldn't become a middleman as of yet due to the recent activites happening lately and the accusations towards you, whether they are false or not. As stated, someone sent a document along with a $5 bill which is verified should be the ones doing middleman around here or just go for someone very trustworthy.

Since everyone isn't listening, just don't care about them. Let them get scammed and fill the deal dispute section containg loads of scammers and unresolved disputes which is in progress. Make sure you do this yourself and just don't give a crap about the others even though it's not as easy as it sounds. Also, just warn your friends to use a middleman, someone trusted, doesn't have to be offical.

On ForumKorner (like every other forum), there are ALWAYS going to be scammers.
On a daily basis now, I am seeing people getting scammed when it could of quite easily been prevented.

How you ask?
It's simple - Use a MIDDLEMAN.

I think OFFICIAL MIDDLEMEN would help reduce these kind of scams by over 50%, if not more.. Now, how would you determine who an official middleman is? That, I'm not too sure on. Maybe "trusted" individuals who have sent in VERIFIED I.D to Philly himself and are therefore VERIFIED on the forum could be part of this. I'm not saying there isn't a chance that one of these people wouldn't scam, but for sure it would stop A LOT of scams which are going down..

I'm also seeing people being compromised and then getting scammed by others. Fair enough, you may of thought the person you were talking to were legit, but why don't people actually verify its the person they are talking to? Whilst this can't be stopped completely, surely you could verify the person you are talking to via KIK, AIM, or simply by how they act on the forum?

Another suggestion would be to incorporate a system such as Two Factor Authorisation. Then if someone's account is compromised, the "hacker" would be locked out of their account as they wouldn't know the code to get into the account. However, there are downfalls to this such as forgetting the code, and not being able to access the account..

These are just some suggestions which I believe may make a tiny bit of difference to the forum, if you don't agree then fair enough!
Just pains me to see people getting scammed, I fucking hate scammers.

I'm sure @Philly has thought about using a google authenticator code for forumkorner.
