I feel this is all too like nihilism in a way. As long, however, as you state that the person with the conscious thought (ie me) exists, it is completely possible.

I suppose the interesting thing about it, is that it can't be proven one way or another.

In your state of mind, technically it can be proven.

How so?

I mean, it could only be proven by yourself. If you are the only one to exist (if you even exist) would it not mean that you could confirm your existence.

This sounds so right in my head, but I don't think I'm describing it right at all.

Makes perfect sense. I suppose then, my idea would be a far more realistic perspective of life (from a scientific point of view) because you know you exist, but you cannot prove that I do or anyone else does.
