You sir, are awesome. This is similar to how I think.

Before you read this, if you have any problems listening to OTHER PEOPLES BELIEFS don't read it! I couldn't give a shit less if you believed in what I believed in, nor could i give a shit less if you typed a essay to me trying to get me to change my perspective, because I wont read it! :p

My beliefs:

I am an atheist. A lot of people think that a 'atheist' is a somebody who doesn't believe there is a god and is a sinner, or something stupid like that. Well, if that is what you believe, you sir are what I would call 'retarded'

In my own description, an atheist is a person who doesn't believe a form of higher being. Whether this be god, or whatever you believe in, an atheist doesn't believe in it. By the definition of 'higher being', I mean by somebody who has power over everything. I do not believe in 'god', because in the definition of this 'god', this 'god' has the power to do anything. He can create life, destroy life, and make something out of nothing by just wanting it. In my OPINION it makes no sense, so I do not believe it.

I personally believe that life doesn't really have any SPECIFIC meaning. Life's meaning is to do what YOU want, to have your own goals and try to accomplish them. Not having goals and not trying to accomplish something over a long period of time is what human kind has sort of called "depression".

I believe that, when you die, it is kind of like sleeping without a dream. EVERYBODY has gone to sleep and woken up before. EVERYBODY has done that, and at one point or another, whether it be often or not, forgotten what dream they had or just gone through the night dreamless. I myself, often go to bed and do not dream. I also have often gone to bed, slept through the night and have had it feel like its only been 5 minutes, when in fact its been well over 8+ hours. I believe that when you die, its like this, but you simply dont wake up. So basically your in limbo, no thinking no dreaming no movement. It may sound scary, but honestly I dont think it is. Do you find sleeping without dreaming scary? No, because you know you'll just wake up. Do you FEAR when your in that state? Obviously not, you simply wake up and go about your day like nothing happened.

But anyways, Thats what I believe, sooo b*tch at me how you want :)

God. Has to be. The beauty is overwhelming. Knowledge is unending. It took a powerful person to create everything. And the facts in te bible have been proven true over and over. There are many tv shows trying to prove the bible wrong, but it always prevails triumphantly. God is almighty, and he reigns over everyone.

It could have possibly been in a bible, the facts are there, yes. But who is to say they weren't just a lie created by someone. We all have an imagination, it could have been a possibility, but as much as we can all debate about it. There's no way we can prove any of it exists, or for that fact, doesn't exist. Unless anyone here, has seen this all happen with their very own eyes to prove otherwise.

If you choose to believe in something, go for it. Got to have faith in something.

When God comes, that will be everyones proof. But it will be too late for some people. A person just can't make up the bible and it prove itself right every time since its been in existence since the BC times.

Look up the numerous tv shows that the history Channel puts out that try and prove the facts in the bible wrong. All the tv shows cannot prove it right.

I'm not asking how history channels have attempted to prove this religion wrong, I'm asking what makes you think that your religion has been proved to be the correct one.

Answer me this then, if god created earth, what created god? Was he just "there"?

You can't prove God doesn't exist :p Also @"Domcon" a Catholic priest came up with the Big Bang Theory.

Irrelevant, you can't disprove that there's a leprechaun beneath my desk, but when someone looks he's gone. Until you disprove that, that leprechaun exists.

Big Bang is just a theory, it is not proven. Religion is just another way to say how life in Earth started.
I find the Adam and Eve bullshit because I mean, where are the dinasours? Did they just skip them?
But I find the God and Devil somewhat true, I mean, there isn't real "proof" of God or angels, but at least of demons, people being possesed by demons and also being exorcised, and well, there couldn't be a God without a Devil, and viceversa. So the Devil is basically the proof I think of to believe that there is a God there.

Just because one thing needs to be there for another, doesn't mean a is proof for b, especially when a nor b have been proven and are only theories. You cannot use falsifiable evidence to prove something correct or to be existent, because for something to be existent, it's 100% there, whereas there's a chance that in the proof used, it can be disproved. Logically, you're statement is incorrect.

I believe there's something out there but I'm not sure what... I will only find out if I die..

What happens happens, life is controlled by you and technology not by some super power.

Because it wasn't only just one person who wrote the bible, and it took several years to be written.

I'm not 100% christian, I'd say I'm a deism believer, but not 100% either. I think that there is a God out there, but not exactly how the bible describes it, I think that He created the universe, but nothing else.
And who knows, maybe science is our god, or god is science...

Sometimes i believe that there is God. I don't attend to Church, i just live by those 10 rules, and anyway. People who make the most sins go to Church. See what i did der?

Also I've really been thinking what will happen when I die, Heaven or Hell. Guess it'll be my own fault. When y'all die, call me.

Note: I am an atheist, so i dont really believe in a 'god' as I have stated before.

That being said, i'd just like to let you all know our 'universe' is nothing but a spec of insignificant dust on top of a giant pile of shit in a even bigger world. Why else can't we breathe in space? Why else would our heads explode in space without air? This is the answer! SHIT! ;)

And for the Christians that don't believe in life outside of earth I'd really love to see them answer if God created the Heavens and Earth, then what the heck created God? Lol

Okay I just did some research and apparently God is eternal. From everlasting to everlasting. He never came into existence, he is the uncaused cause.

The more confusing part is if God created time, matter, and space, then what was before that? What is outside of space?

Exactly my point. What makes OUR god so much more special than the Gods of a different religion? Some text in a book? It's ridiculous.

And out of the whole entire universe what makes OUR planet, our people so special that IF there is a god he pays only attention to us? Why would he create such a huge universe, for him to only teach us his ways? What's the point?

Religion, just a bunch of confusing bull.

In my opinion religion is a way to have faith in your life/afterlife, I don't really believe it in because I don't like the feeling that I can't control my own life and what I do with it, Faith is just an illusion made to consume you into a false reality.

Same thing with Big Bang. The big ball of mas was just there, chilling, and then it simply exploded? Supposely there was nothing, but it's false because that "big ball of mass" was there, so there was something.
